Ramit Sethi Is Going To Teach You How To Kick Ass!

Ramit Sethi's Guide to Kicking Ass Personal Finance ebook

One website that I frequently visit is Ramit Sethi’s I Will Teach You To Be Rich. In his blog, Ramit, who is a recent Stanford graduate writes about personal finance (banking, saving, budgeting, and investing) and entrepreneurship for students, recent graduates, and other young people.

At least that’s what he said, but I personally think that anyone who needs information on managing their finances will find his blog useful. There are 2 years worth of quality content that you can find there.

And that 3 days ago, he finally published his first personal finance ebook titled Ramit’s 2007 Guide to Kicking Ass that features 5 new essays written by himself, and 4 by other guest bloggers including Casey Serin, a 24 year old real estate investor who is $2.2 million in debt.

The guide includes new essays on personal finance, personal entrepreneurship, making mistakes, and more. All of them are completely new, and there’s one ridiculous story about who has the most frugal family in the world (read it and weep).

The 30-page guide is selling for $4.95, which I think is a small amount to pay for since there were occasions I spend more than that on useless stuff. And I know I’m not alone.

In my line of work, I get to find out about the finances of other people i.e. what they spend on each month, the amount that they save and/or invest and I still find it difficult to believe that a professor who earns $10k a month has expenses totaling close to $9k without much reserves. He is basically leaving from paycheck to paycheck.

Before reaching out for your credit card, you can read a free chapter first - Why Do People Get So Nutty Around Christmas?
